Chronicling the Bins of Congleton so you don't have to.
Since I took that first photograph of a bin next to St Stephen's church back in January 2024 and posted it on instagram, 'Bins of Congleton' has become something of a love letter to the place I call home.
I continue to trek the hundreds of streets, rows of shops, green spaces, churchyards and alleyways in a bid to photograph and rate every bin in Congleton.
I firmly believe these inconspicuous pieces of street furniture are the golden nuggets that help give our wonderful town oodles of character and charm. The mission continues!

Each bin is named, simply so that we can tell them apart. The unique monikers are dreamt up by followers to the instagram page and are mostly a nod to the bin's location, type and general demeanor. There are 52 here. Which is your favourite?
